Practical education

Practices and seminars are held in small groups. This way, a more direct and personal contact is established and maintained between students and teachers, which is conducive to a much more effective acquisition of knowledge. Many classes take place in the ultramodern Skills Center, in which students can enjoy all the benefits this one-of-its-kind facility has to offer.

The physicians at the University hospital are more than knowledgeable and friendly, opening the door to students to come to the clinic to learn beyond teaching hours. In addition to learning valuable medical skills, the medical school also incorporates a thesis into the program to introduce students to the wonderful world of research. Students have the chance to delve into their interested field of medicine to learn the latest practice about the career in which they wish to enter.

Skills Center

Opened in March 2013, the Skills Center is one of a kind in medical training both internationally and nationwide. There are three simulation rooms and two classrooms in the Center providing creditable conditions for skill enhancement due to its unique nature in medical training both on a national and an international level.

On the lab’s devices and the ‘high fidelity’ mannequins with high lifelikeness, students have the opportunity to perform numerous procedures including stethoscopic examination, catheterization, peripheral vein piercing, resuscitation and more.

The aim of the Skills Center is to aid medical students by enabling them to practice the methods of various procedures on mannequins.
